The Four Letter Contract

I just wanted someone to value me.

Is that too much to ask?

To be there for me, through my mid-youth crisis,

And not drop me on my ass?

I guess it is too much to ask.

Really.

It is.

They say that hurt people hurt people.

Then what do lost people do?

Do they lose people?

I asked for something strong,

But what I recieved was brittle,

And as mystically elusive

As Harry Style's fourth nipple.

I once wished upon a star for any semblance of stability.

All I recieved was another dose of humility.

A hit on my ability ot retain my tranquility.

I unplugged my ears to hear to roaring futility!

IT'S FRUSTRATING!... this thing we call love.

We give 7,000 emotions one name.

I love cereal. I love God.

Are these two words really one in the same?

xoxo luv ya :)

Girl, I love you!

Love you, too, mom.

I love you.

I love comma insert name.

I love you, too comma insert name.

Together, we sign this four letter contract,

Yet, our terms and conditions are not the same.
