four letters
love, a four letter word so short, yet it holds so much power power over the human mind they say hate is a strong word well what opposes hate? it's love does that not make love a word that's just as strong yet, love is tossed around by everyone a word formerly reserved for family for those who mean the most to you well, now people "love" anything and everything
I love you three words that mean the world from the right person but they tend to lose their meaning when you hear them from everyone insult me, tear me down, make me feel like shit then turn around and say "I love you" how can I trust the word anymore? how do I know who means it? how do I know when it's real?
the wheels turn in my head as I think who has used those words with me and have they stuck around have they proved that love is not only a word it's only a word until proven through actions I can count on one hand the people who stayed the people who proved they know what it is they know what it means to love
you don't have to say the words for them to be known I would rather you show me show me and never say it that's better than not meaning what you say I find no comfort in an empty statement but when it's said and it's meant when you know that it's true love can be your favorite word just four letters
