Four Seasons

Four seasons filled with love and laughter,

I'll be alright being alone,

I will be okay.

Who tells me what to do when I am on my own?

It’s not you, won’t be you, you do not control me.

It’s okay you lost the battle you thought you’d win,

Things occur people cry but life still carries on.

I can taste the sweetness of the past,

When I was free and you were nowhere near my life,

I’ll be alright.

I’ve learned to live my life the hard way,

Even with twists and turns because …. I believe.

My life won’t end, even if you’re not with me, I will strive for a better life.

That’s just for me, you know ‘cause life doesn’t give many chances,

And I will not lose mine. I’ll continue to smile and look forward to a bright future,

Saying a prayer for well being.

Four Seasons out of your life… I know I’ll do just fine.

I was told life’s filled with trial and error,

So what if I messed up I’ll get up by myself.

Can you hear me all the way from there?

I don’t really think so, does it matter, you don’t understand

I’ll be just fine.

The truth is I’m doing a lot better now,

So please don’t think of…. Staying with me

What happened in the past I hope it remains there, buried deep in my memoires;

Just like your stupid message I received then.

I will truly erase them ‘cause they don’t mean a thing to me, never have.

Saying a prayer for well being,

Four Seasons out of your life… Feels like a dream.

Without you I learned to never give up, I’ll reach my dreams without your help.

I’m strong and independent no thanks to you; I’ll start a brand new stain free life,

With someone worthy of my time and forget about you.

I know I will see my own silver lining.

With a smile, I feel I’m stronger than ever;

Saying a prayer for well being,

Four Seasons out of your life… This time it’s for real.
