The Fox and the Hound

A story so sad

That made me so mad

It didn’t have to end the way it did

Where the fox went and hid

The dog didn’t have to turn on him

And make his life seem so dim

An owner so evil, forcing them away

When all they wanted was to play

Yet another back turned

And another lesson learned

If I had it my way

Then this is what it would say:

The fox and hound were best of friends

Would never split, not even a bend

One orange, one brown

One fox, one hound

They would never turn on one another

And always be right next to the other

Even when they grew grey and old

They kept a friendship made of gold

They would grow up together

And remain friends FOREVER
