Fragile

You say you're sorry But what does that even mean The venom you spit Stings the scars you've left behind I can't even think straight To tell the difference between all the lies No concept of reality Lost within your fantasy You act like everything is okay That what you did Wasn't a big deal But who the fuck are you to tell me what I feel? When I was this close To falling apart My world crumbling beneath my feet You were nowhere near You didn't catch me To take away my fear Instead you left me crying Barely holding onto the edge You were my life How am I supposed to just pretend that what I felt wasn't real I still feel these feelings I've always had for you I tell myself I'm over it Everytime I hear your name My heart skips a beat Wanting you so bad To be back in your arms Protected and safe Trying to forget Pretending not to care Torn between what I want and what I need A constant battle Refusing to surrender I can't help but wonder if the dangers I was running from Should have been you the whole time But now I look back I was blinded at first Tears in my eyes They fell from my cheeks I wondered if I was insane Why I wasn't good enough Secretly hoping you'd change Suddenly realizing Not wanting to admit My heart was your puppet controlled by your strings It was never love For you it was always just a game I was manipulated Stripped of my self worth I was nothing more Than a victim in your hell Shattered into pieces Fallen under your spell
