Fragile Broken Innocence

I lye down hoping you will realize me dieing inside

Who would have known life was such a damn ride

Born with such fragile innocence

Yet little does the one know they are only going to grow into a life of cruelty

Leaving home for the first time of the ones that always showed you love

Once you exit the door you are torn from your insides out.

Questioning. Is this how life really is? Does god even exist? I begin to doubt.

I was told to smile and forgive.

I cannot live.

Is heaven even real? Im beginning to believe life is actual hell which seems my ideal.

No one cannot save me from the darkness. This emptiness.

I look into the mirror without realizing it's even me.

The person in the reflection seems undead.

They looked like a character out of a horror story I have read.

Eyes sunk in dark red, skin plastered to the bone, dark purple marks

What is this? Please tell me this is nightmare?

These voices will not leave me alone.

Maybe I’m just stoned, it's all made up in my own head.

But really I was losing it, we destroy our own kind with our selfish needs.

And this is where it leads..

I started to understand that this what life is, this is the great thing everyone spoke of.

Yet I see no greatness.

I see my grave in my reflection now. It's time to go.

Life is just a cruel show.

I’m lying down hoping you will realize me dieing inside.
