a fragment of the light
And looking at the crossing,
I think of all the ghosts and shadows
Mowed down by cars, phantom
Blood pooling in broken mouths
And bruised legs.
but what could i have done to save them?
how could i have made this life a little easier
on the people we used to be?
i have to go.
i have to go.
i can't sit still anymore, you know?
