A veil of severed glass envokes memorial of ranging battles,

Dusk to Dawn, man to monster.

She loves him, she loves him not

Painted face, cherry lips, talc powder over truth

"Smile for yourself," She said.

"Do for yourself," I said.

He loves her not.

He reaches for the bottle.

He reaches for her.

I reach for the door.
