Fragments of Me

My heart knew what's right,

Igniting fire for every sight.

My heart knew this is a sin,

Now, everything hurts within.

My heart knew it had to be me,

For you to understand was not a possibility.

My heart knew forgiveness,

None was found, god as my witness.

My heart  knew something was taken,

My love for him burned like Satan.

My heart knew it broke,

With his actions, I lost all hope.

My heart knew he was guilty,

Leaving me with agony.

My heart knew.
