Frankenstein IRL tbh

Frankenstien's monster

Alone at night

Observers wonder

"Do I flight or fight?"

But he comes not fast

Nor agile, nor strong

He meanders the alleys

Until from sight he is gone

What's that in his hand

A captivating mirror

That has infinite information

But makes life less clearer

He spends all day

Staring at his device

His mind becomes numb

His heart much like ice

And when someone strikes a match

or invite him to a fire pit

He reverts to his phone

His interest is quit

For he fears the genuine, the natural, the real

Most of all he fears what he can feel

What doesn't make sense, but touches his heart

Powerful and innocent, like match's first spark

So he clombers down the alley way

Afraid and cautious that someone will say

"Hey Frankie, is everything swell?"

or "Follow your passion frank, you know it so well"

He seeks deniability

Of an unseen passion

He fears responsibility

of passion's longing for action

So distract yourself poor Frankie

Forget the future, present, and past

Don't look up, poor Frankie,

Live your life through that empty screen of glass.
