Why must you put me down

Explode when I make mistakes

Do I ever hurt you

To the degree you hurt me

You may say you are kind

You have no venom

But it's all a deception 

You hide

The hurtful things

Under carefully structured sentence

One word is the one that hurts 

It's all it takes 

To bring me to a dark place

I feel anger quickly rising

Horrible thoughts

Coursing though my head

All about you

Then I think about it

I forgive

Do you ever do that?

Or is that hidden too?
