As I wander through the depths of my ever stretching mind

I crave for an ending to this eternal lasting time

Restrained by body, mind in liberty

Chasms as undescovered as the never ending sea

Layers of my brain, unfurling like petals

Blood in my veins made of undiscovered metals

Memories mark the walls of my cracked and burned skull

Holes from battle riddle this fragile war ship's hull

Too much time to think, remember, remind

What I would give to have my mind be confined

Give it time, perhaps, and then I may be free

At last, under a gravestone, free I will be
