FREE All I ask is to be free Free from all your drama and confusion Free from your cold hearted ways Free from your dramatic and abusive days All I ask is to be free Dis relationship is not for you and me You beg me to stay You say without me you can’t stand I don’t wanna sound mean but I really don’t give a damn I’m not finna waste my time, breath, and Christianity on dat female and you Why and for what cuz babe me and you are through You start yelling and sayin you didn’t say we were through I turn and say we were through when you decided we needed to be three You say you really think I’m a fool, and like the light blue sky you made dat very clear But I have no regrets and when you leave trust I won’t shed a tear Cuz let the truth be told you’re da real fool There are plenty of them out there just like you You turn and ask for one more chance You give me them puppy dawg eyes They’re so warm and light blue I just had to say Goodbye, Deuces, and Happy Trails to you All I wanted was to be free After all da crap I’ve been through I finally know why the cage bird sings And if I haven’t said it enough It’s Damn good to be free
