As the wind blows
And the birds sing
Free is what I’ll be

When others mourn
For those who died
Free is what I’ll be

You might be chained
You might cry
But as for me
I will be free

I will be free
When morning comes
When the sun sets
My soul has found rest

She might fall from chains
He might stumble over limitations
But as for me
Free is what I’ll be

Free is what I’ll be
Free is what I’ll be
As for me
Free is what I’ll be
