The swirling colors swirl around me,

A mystic swirl I will never see.

My eyes were not made to glance

At the lights as they create a distant dance.

I try so hard, but am done in the end

To vision, I say goodbye my friend!

My partners are only feel and hear,

Taste and touch when things are near.

I will never see my lovers face,

Or the eyes of my family.

The colors of flowers and their shapes,

Or anything else to see.

But for once,

And maybe thats all,

Everything seems

A bit more small.

My problems, my worries,

The day, its hurting,

I don't have to see,

I don't have to see!

And for once, I am free.
