Free to be Flawless

If I am free to be skinny,

Free to be tan,

Free to date

As long as it's a man.

Why can't I be free to be fat?

Free to be pale?

Free to date the person

That treats me well?

If I am free to get drunk,

Free to have sex,

Free to abort

To keep my life from becoming a mess.

Why can't I be free to stay sober?

Free to respect myself?

Free to protect the life

That I've created from cells?

So you can live their idea of life,

Be the person they want you to be.

While I'll live mine and be nothing,

Nothing but flawlessly me.
