Free to Be Me

As I Lay on the cold street
and my heart makes a few more soft beats,
I look up to the sky with one last reply
Let my soul fly so high up in the sky
Let it soar the dark blue seas
Let it go beyond what eyes can see
Let it's wings glide through the stars and galaxies
Let it climb up those beautiful white stairs
Leading me to my person unseen
and let no man condemn or fire his shot gun at it
Because I am free to be me.

This is a beautiful poem. However, it would have been much better if you did wrote in stanzas form.
