Free Bird

I wish I could be a free bird

Flying with the wind

Singing happy songs that will be heard

But instead, I am pinned.

I wish I could be a free bird

Seeing beautiful views

Sitting on billboards

But instead, I am singing those sad blues.

I wish I could be a free bird

Dancing in the sun

But now, I'm a confined bird

Waiting for my confinement to be done.
