Captured in rouge sweatshirt hug

Arms thermal as my fleece

The cocoa drips
the clock ticks on

One beatTwo beatThree beat

Tip toe down the hall

I wake

I want

to intertwine

Come back

I say

s
you

No

The Nile tumbles on

I know you crossed that bridge for me

Plant blue bells in your wake

The bulbs they bulge and burst and bang

A tie dye, zip tie cake

Flee

I let you go as you let me

Now lonely hearts do sing

But for my dove love blooms anon

And from roots sprout new wings
