Free fall

As I plummeted from the skies, no one could hear my cries. Gliding like a bird, a bird in disguise. Yet, with the wings of butterflies. My horrific fall was eerily vocalized. But then, I saw the beautiful sunrise. And as the earth below, rapidly rise. I knew I was about to meet my demise. Then the rays of dawn found my tired eyes. I awoke, I was safe, though traumatized. It was just a dream, a dreadful dream, I now surmise. MagzL 02/21
