Free At Last

Poetry has taught me to voice myself

Letting it out is necessary at times

Pain oozes out of my body

As words come out my mouth

I am able to experience freedom as a result

At last I can have fun again

Instead of being condemned to my inner monsters

Everyone has a way of coping with their problems

Poetry has filled that role for me
