Free At Last
No longer a captive
and free of the beast
the monster
walks alone
Into the abyss
of self-destruction
stalking
a new home
Living no longer
in a black
and white world
all colors have returned
Tomorrow rewelcomed
the past
on fire
— bad memories left to burn
(Dreamsleep: July, 2024)
