Once upon a time,

In a far foreign world,

Society began to invade,

Life began to fade,

Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, Youtube all were the escape,

The battle of life, change, and difference began,

Fighting for decades, her father couldn’t move on,

He was weak, He was old, He was unknowledgeable, He was different.

After the war began, his heart stopped,

The revolution stopped,

Change stopped.

His daughter, a brave, young, and intellectual girl,

Could not let faith die out,

Mulan was not taken seriously,

As a girl, she did not have the same impact as her father,

She went under a made up name, “Anonymous”,

She began her quest, her quest for the release of those addicted to non-reality.

Her first stop, Instagram.

The gram in which all seemed to be zombified, childish, and personified.

Her mission was to free the mind,

Many spent too much time,

Time not in their life,

Their mind following the unnecessary,

Never looking behind,

She started a trend.

Many took notice,

Many shut it down,

Anonymous was blocked,

Faith died down,

She did not give up,

Her next stop; Facebook.

Facebook seemed like a breeze,

Affecting the elder and many with ease,

Mulan sent the trend once more.

Many followed,

Many Blocked,

Mulan's trend died out.

After many months,

Mulan was exhausted,

She began to doubt,

Doubt our society,

The future in her hands was crushed,

Society showed no remorse,

Social Media took its course.

One year later, something began,

While working at her family farm, her mom yelled,

“Mulan …..Mulan”,

Mulan hurried back,

Looking at the news.

Amazed by the news she ran to her father's grave,

She cried and cried until the sun rose,

She made a change, She made a revolution,

Her faith kept steady,

She saved her father's legacy,

And the world she lived in, never gave in.

She freed society from addiction and gave everyone happiness to all no, matter what color, creed, or sexual orientation they may be.

In today's world, we are blinded by the unknown and familiar,

We need someone to save us,

We need someone to stand up,

We all need to look up and open our eyes,

Mulan stood up,

Now it is up to us to make a change.

Stand up. Make a change.
