Free Verse

I paint when i'm sad

Colors are a distinguishing emblem

Red, represents the blood on my knuckles

Orange, day by day medication

Yellow, as bright as the sun i see

Green, lay upon the grass while gazing up at the sky

Blue, for all the tears i had shed every night

Purple, the bruises that come and go on my body

Black, as dark as the world as the stars shine

White, the last color i see when i close my eyes
