Everyone must have a source of inspiration and encouragement in their life. The famous idols like singer Agnes Monica, footballer like Christian Ronaldo, and famous actor like Orlando Bloom are some examples of famous idols that give inspiration and positive lives to so many. If everyone had a source of inspiration, but not for me. As for me, my source of inspiration is none other than my beloved mother. My mother is someone who will do anything for her children. She is someone who is very important in my life and the lives of my family. She had always helped me go where I needed to be. No one can replace her. Notorious for always going beyond her way to make sure everything was right.

I could still remember how she embraced me, the soft embraced and her hand which strokes my hair. Every day, I can still smell her perfume. I can still remember how she gently kiss me on my cheek and she leaves red lipsticks marks. I could remember how she always puts me in bed, whispering “goodnight” into my ears, and kiss me on my forehead. I’m a bit older now and those times have surely slipt away but they will always have a consonance in my memory.

My mother has always been very patient with me. She always gives me advice and support whenever I need them. She was always on my side during good and bad times. Always lend her shoulder for me to cry on during the bad time. She takes good care of me and my other sibling. Yes like every mother she would get upset. Of course always my fault, but our stubborn natures got the best of us. Always butting heads. But despite ever trial and tribulation I know she loves me even when I am not the easiest to handle. She is notoriously a great listener. My Number 1 coach. No one wishes me the best in life like my mother. Pushing me to the very limits and I can thank my determine attitude to this woman.

Another attribute that astonishes me to this very day is how she can work all day and sometimes into the night and still make time to cook, clean and care for all of us. It is a trait I wish I could hold. The power of multitasking is no end with my mother. We don’t give enough credit.

I thank god for placing me under the same roof and arms of my mother. This woman is incredible. Beating the limits that subdue her ordinary life. She is one tough nut to crack and I could never repay my gratitude enough for what this woman has done for me the last 17 years. Nothing will ever measure up and for that, I am forever grateful. The little moments will be the one most cherished as we both grow older and look back at old memories. Wondering where the time flew by.

For some there, inspiration comes in the forms of credible celebrities or famous individuals from our past history. But for me, my inspiration will always be my mother.
