Dear Offender,

It's been a year since you left your mark.

It's been a year since the nonconsensual touch hurt me in the dark.

I remember it like yesterday, your rough hands lingering on me.

Touching my stomach and back

And then the precious flower that lies,

in between my thighs.

Then I felt your groin against me.

Rubbing harshly on my backside, while the tears began to well up in my shut eyes.

My hands were clenching the sheets.

Then this horrible feeling rose up inside me.

Fear, pain and confusion.

All in one.

My body was shaking and could not stop.

I just laid there lifeless, but then I gained some strength.

I began to scoot away, and just when I assumed it was safe,

I sensed a hook around my waist, pulling me away from my private space.

You took me back into your trap to force my butt on your lap.

I tried one more time, but your grip grew tighter.

The thrust of your hips began again.

Feeling your hardness on me,11

I gave up.

I stopped the little fight I barely had to allow you to have your way.

I let you put your weapon of a hand under my shirt and pants.

As you did what you wanted, I slammed my eyelids together.

I want to believe this reality was a dream.

But it wasn't.

I am still haunted by your touch in my mind.

Maybe in a year or two I will be able to forget everything.

But as of now I remember all of you,

Unfortunately.

I do not think I'll ever forget what you did to me.

Or how you wrecked my heart, destroyed my trust and tore my mind apart.

But from now on.

Until forever and on.

I will never be quiet or afraid.

Again.
