Free verse(rap)

I was heavy into drugs/ screwed up my chance with my first true love/ lied so many times I got caught up but not cheating/ still no reason to give the shit I did to this person/ I'm still cursing to the sky/ asking God why couldn't I drop my mind and heart into this girls laps/ she was the only thing that made me smile and laugh made me forget about my shitty past or the present only looking forward to what was meant to be/ destiny doesn't cross my path like you did/ but maybe then I was still a kid/ needed a wake up call but you were no longer there/ or bothered to care/ though it wasn't your fault I caused it/ I lost my sight/ my life and my light/ its pitch black in my eyes I'm just trying to write my lines and right the wrong I caused between me and you/ not for a second chance to date/ but a chance to be forgiven for my wicked ways/ my brain over thinks and complicates any relationship that is new/ but somehow different from when I was with you/ took you for granted / wasn't my plan to fuck up with the very few things that kept me glued to this planet / it fucking sucks on how now I understand that I can't stand this life without you in it/ even for a minute or two with you is like a year to me/ neither did you ever fear me or things that I've done/ when I'm speaking its me with two separate personalities hunter and twisted g then there's me Frankie/ such a common name/ but when met with the sight of your beautiful face/ it made my dark demons been replaced or vanished without a trace/ now your gone and I'm trying to move on/ even when I'm getting shit faced/ pissed drunk/ I still have a slump in my heart to realize it was my constant lies that made us drift apart but from the very depths of my broken heart there's an open crack/ missing a piece/ the sense of reality is what I tend to lack/ maybe if I had you back/ I wouldn't be so depressed I wouldn't be thinking about the bad/ the ugly duckling is still trying to fins his path/ not to family cause if you did the math/ you'd see I'll subtract everyone I've come in contact with just to have one more kiss with this girl who was my world/ guess its time to go back to the madness but I'll always keep looking back on what I had with this person I'd say her name whenever I get the chance but she's moved onto a different man/ so I guess I'll move on to by the way that's gonna be my last lie I'll ever tell you cause you know who you are and that this is my final chance to get to tell the truth but all I really need to tell you is that I miss us how we used to be but then again that's just my heart being stupid with some hope that I won't lose you again.
