Freedom

A reflection examined & subjected to hopeful acceptance
Afraid of societies rejection
We simply criticize ourselves to death to uphold perception.
A mirror full of neglect
Starring in your own eyes unaware of the person in disguise looking back terrified.

Sometimes I ask myself why?

Why can't I see what they see when they look at me. Heart pounding sounding tragically alarming in hope of strength.
Standing right in front of this mirror. Yet the reflection is anything but clear. One day I'll be able to face my very own reflection, look at myself in approval. No need for acceptance. Or enhances. I'll be pleased with the person glancing back at me letting go of insecurities along with fears & enjoying the purity of being free.

Simply because I am awsome-ly me
