Freedom

We were born

In captivity and bondage

And we go through life

Feeling like a hostage

We dont know what to do

With all this strife

We look for ways to end it

Wielding a handgun and a knife

But there is a message

Clear like the ocean waves

About a Man so explicit

You couldnt miss it

His name is Jesus

And He came

So that we may have freedom

TheGentlemanPoet

I am 20 years old and I am short with reddish brown hair. I love to write and read poetry and its always been a passion for me. I express how I feel through my words and really this is the only way I can. (Just a little note, I had a previous account that I deleted so a lot of my poems might be recognized by some of you.)
