Freedom

Whats the biggest concept without which I can't be me?

Is it love, religion or camaraderie?

If I was stuck on an island in the middle of the sea,

Fret I would not, for I would be free.

Would I get down on my knees, would I pray?

Would I be afraid, hoping for an escape?

With only my thoughts to reflect on each day.

I'm a free man, so all is still great.

While it would seem I have nothing,

My freedom is everything,

Nothing material can even compare,

With freedom comes other things,

But they don't give one freedom,

One cannot have flames wihtout air.
