Freedom

There was always something inside

longing to be let out,

A prisoner, confined behind a ribcage

A voice silenced

keeping close everything pushed down deep.

Speak!

                  Release.

Freedom found through ink,

flowing like oil struck

Inhibitions obliterated

No longer a prisoner

No longer silenced

I will be heard

Even if I'm just listening to myself
