Freedom
I can feel it
The wind rushing through my hair
The gentle tug of my face as that breeze goes quickly past me
I love this feeling
This freedom
I smile as I stare ahead of myself
Soon there will be complete freedom
I hear their shouts and cries
But they’ve made me do this
It ends quickly
It all ends
No more noise for me to listen to
All this freedom belonging fully to me
Then it ends
The wind stops along with my thoughts
My few seconds of freedom are over
My body now floats in the water beneath the bridge
The bridge where you took my freedom away from me
