I face my fear and here I am,
I'm ready for a fair.
The kids all laugh, the kids all laugh,
But me, I don't care.

Today is freedom, I know it's true
I feel it in my bones
Because I feel better than love,
More comfortable than home.

I meet and greet and socialize.
I prove my sense of style:
Unique, so chic, a butterfly,
And everything's worth while.

Today is freedom, I have no doubt,
It just makes sense to me.
It's clearer than the open sky
And deeper than the sea.

More vast than oceans, higher than clouds,
So beautiful I cry.
Today is freedom, I feel it now,
No need to wonder why.
