Freedom

Freedoms like an eagle

Soaring away just when you can touch it

The lucky few can hold it in their hands

But many of us don't know what true freedom is like

We are shackled to a wall by the views of society

Telling you what you want

When you want it

And telling you “ you can't” or “ it's impossible”

But there is no can’t without can

No impossible without possible

You need to fight back break free say what YOU want when YOU want it

Not when society needs you to want or need it

You can be free you just have to want it

If you aren't free

Find a weakness

Break a hole in the wall that is perception

Grow your wings and fly

Because freedom is like an eagle

Soaring away just when you can touch it

But those who are worthy can catch it

And become one of the lucky few

You are one in a million. That means there are 320 of you in the U.S. Find yourself. Create an army. Overthrow the government of a small midwestern town. Hi... I am a spoken word poet and that is the format the majority of my work will be. Some of these are work from the heart and some I did for school. I am a actor, a horseback rider, a sister, a member of the LGBT+ community, and an extreme introvert. I love kids, Netflix, video games, my pets, and I suck at every language I try other than Latin. (weird I know) I'm a Pisces on the Aires cusp. I act a whole lot like it too.
