People walking around doing what they want

trying to be different without the taunt

But as a child freedom involves trust

with parents that can disappear like dust

Destroying that freedom gets you locked up

it's painful to see a child handcuffed

Freedom gone suffer the consequences

just sit there think about all the tenses

Getting letter from your brother brings tears

sitting behing bar because of peers

Learning from older siblings mistakes

doing the right thing may give you a headache

without freedom you wouldn't have successes

go speak your mind, without making a mess

Moving out of the house without the doubt

or fear finding you on the streets knocked out
