Freedom

To free my mind

To liberate my thoughts

On paper are confined

What through words would be in knots

Only then can I express

My soul's true identity

When in phrases I confess

The truth with such serenity

In paragraphs or stanzas

I find no need to hide

All sorts of extravaganzas

Dwelling deep inside

After all is written

When my fingers lay to rest

My heart is still smitten

By what lies within my chest

Unexpected yet fated

Is the time again

When though my pen will be created

What in my heart might still remain
