Freedom is God's Glory

Broken and bruised, united we stand, Filled with conviction, we have a plan, We will group in the streets, out in the sun, To show we have power, it must be done, The hurt has inspired us, to lead this move, The hate has told us; we have something to prove, Now is our time, to stand and fight, Now is our time, white isn’t always right, Freedom from oppression, is burned in our brain, Freedom is God’s glory, but is still our pain, There will be no more suffrage amongst our race, The emotions, angry and bitter, we must face, We must converge together, all differences aside, We must go hand in hand; go stride in stride, Our grandchildren will be thankful, for what we will achieve, But to beat this hardship, in people we must believe.
