Freedom isn't Free
When we all come here,
we who are proud cheer,
we celebrate the birth,
of our country from the first,
every fourth of seven,
we all look toward heaven,
at the bright lights above,
thinking of the pureness of a dove,
and the blood that was shed
those who laid dead,
to try to remember,
to keep alive the ember,
to try to remind me,
“Freedom isn’t free.”
