Freedom: Part I

Everyone has little specks of stars within And the sunlight that can intervene Even when life gets bad And we scream? Even when sadness comes from inside to the out We become free! We let it out! We scream and shout Then we become a scout...of freedom From the highest point of a mountain To the soil under the treedome It's true, if you will let it come Some try to escape from... Thinking it will only be here for a moment Giving up on life's precious token?... Freedom? Freedom. Freedom! We ALL want it Can't forget it, If you feel it Even for a minute Even for a SECOND Freedom is Life Freedom is Beckoned! "Free at last, free at last. Thank God Almighty, we are free at last."-- "I Have a Dream" speech, August 28, 1963, -Martin Luther King, Jr.
