The Freedom to Startover

The sun breaks through the clouds in shades of gold and yellow. The waves break over the rocky shore making playful relaxing sounds. The scene is familiar to me I have seen it a thousand times before, but not here. The place I am now is so far from home and reality it is almost another planet. The people here are strangers I know none of them and they do not know me. The idea of starting over in this strange but familiar place occurs to me. The feeling of complete freedom washes over me and I am overjoyed by it. The past is gone and now I can finally be me, finally be free.
