Freedom ("TAINTED ACCORDS" INSPIRED COLLECTION)

Once beaten, bloody, cowed

Once scared of silk and cloth and love

Once alone

Scared of every shadow

Scared of every breeze

A person she was not

An apparition she seemed

But no longer

Freedom

Freedom that comes most unlikely

Chains broken by the enemy

Freedom bought by death and loss

The freedom of flight

The freedom of thought

The freedom of sight and sound and life

(Inspired by the book series "The Tainted Accords"
