Freeing Myself From Me

Eyes wide open. Mind sealed closed. I feel you sinking, stealing my soul. I hate the way I was, the way I used to be. Why in the world do you do this to me? I miss your skin, the way is smells, the feel against mine. You know me so well, every thought, every sign. You hold me close, I pull away. I have to leave, run, get away. I try to fight it but you conceal me. Into the abyss no where to flee.
