Freelancing

Proverbs 14:33           New English Translation

33 Wisdom rests in the heart of the discerning;

it is not known in the inner parts of fools.

Freelancing

Nice and peaceful wouldn’t, not much on my mind

A chair that pinches my buns in shape that yesterday felt comfy

Maybe it was made for the narrow behind that I use to carry

And that is now broad as my head. Too big, round and dumpty

So now I sit sideways in my chair and feel like I am cheating

Somewhere along the line, I have to remove the lead

That fills my britches up and makes me overly heavy

I am told about many diets, but I am just overfed

I hear birds that are singing and one taps on a tree

It has been so long ago that I paid this some attention

Maybe life has hope after all if birds keep singing freely

Answering back and forward until human intervention
