I am

I am here, I want to be heard, I want to be seen

If I scream will they hear me?

If I open their eyes will they see me?

I am here

I am here working, and drilling, and dying.

How long will it take before I'm noticed

How much harder do I need to work?

Does an ant have work this hard to steal the crumbs on the flloor in order to survive?

I love what I do, but how much more blood, sweat, and tears need to come out of my body.

People underestimate my profession

They unrestimate my choices

They sit on their broken down couches and critcize me

for what I love

for I do.

I am not them

I don't need to throw myself in the pits of humanity and waste my time putting others down.

I am strong,

confident,

I am here.
