Just as darkness escapes the light

shadows flee when one shines bright

for a human to glow, it is their might

it’s their confidence, their will, their fight,

that still radiates through the night

Pour your dreams on paper and write

then one day your soul too, will take flight

to where your dreams and reality is in the same sight

Do not tremble, for fear is all bark and no bite
