Freethinking through the Flames
Tendrils of deep black leap from the underneath
Twisting their way through the crisp night's air
And with them they bring a pungent odour
A stench of ambiguity
Clouding the mind like a drug
Bony talons of smoke grasp around necks of truths
Strangling all who oppose
But at the same time conflicted
Confused by the illogical, the irrational
By thoughts of pure dementia
Then come the flames
Curling,flickering,dancing
As if in tune to death's melody
Their edges reach high
Showing their claim over a once innocent mind
Burning through cast iron shackles
Of silence and of cowardice
A once abstinence of revelations unveiled
While orange wisps of virgin flame illuminate
My fate
One of scepticism and fiery opinion
A fate bound by FLAME
