Frequent Fruit

Forbidden Fruit

Oh, how I've missed you

you're here again

ready to take it all away

to ease the pain

with your own inflictions

You're not liked, you know

by society

But who's to say

that something is right or wrong?

They can't judge you

unless they've met you

If they'd met you

they would not be so

hostile

angry

destructive

What no one knows

is that you are actually

a friend

You're one of my best friends

You've been there for me through thick

and thin

In times of want

and in times of need

I love you

Forbidden Fruit

and I'm so glad

we've rekindled

what was lost

so long ago.
