Fresh Paint

Still pure, untouched, flawless
The beauty it holds, the power it has
Saving the precious flower until it's ready to bloom
Being mindful because it's everything to you
Knowing what this could do to you
How it'll effect you later
Feeling everything at once
That special moment for every girl
Thoughts and questions going through your mind
"Is this what I want?" "Am I ready?"
The pressure of doing it because he told you he loves you
Falling for him because everything he said sounded good... At the time
When you think you're ready you'll call him up
Tell him to come over
Temperatures rising
Then you tell him to stop because you're really not ready
He'll say something along the lines of "I got you, just relax."
But in your mind you don't want to go through with this anymore
Giving mixed signals
So you tell him to stop again
For the moment he'll act like he's not mad
Telling you he's not mad he's OK
Whatever you won't do, another girl will
He's not forcing you
He's thinking to himself "I'll find someone else who'll give it up."
When you realize he's done with you, you're the one whose left hurt
All because you're not physically ready
He doesn't want anything to do with you, because to him, you're scared
Because he doesn't have time for a virgin... Giving mixed signals
He wants a girl with more experience
It's pressure because you want him to love you more
The only problem is you're just not ready
Don't beat yourself up because he's not talking to you anymore
You shouldn't force yourself to do something you're not comfortable with
You've inlet it this long
Wait until you find the right one
Most don't care about waiting for the right one
Let alone waiting until they think they're ready
They jump in head first without thinking about it
Maybe something's troubled them in their personal life
Not having the right figures in their life
Maybe it was taken by force
This creation is the most precious thing you have
Cause I mean when it's gone, you'll never get it back
Cherish it
Hold on to it until it's your time
