Fresh Spring

How new, how fresh

I breath the young air

As I set upon this wonderous quest

I ponder this new test

A camp, first venture, near Fryeburg Fair

How new, how fresh

And yet, first night, I lay to rest

And wonder how this new place shall fare

As I set upon this wonderous test

And first time separated from my mother's breast

All alone without her care.

How green, how fresh

But over time, my heart does rest

As I breath Maine's fresh air

As I set upon this wonderous quest

And thus enjoy my time at camp the best

A unique, joyful experience rare

How new, how fresh

Having set upon this wonderous quest
