Fresh Start

Every day we wake up

We fill ourselves up, and the smell of roasted coffee is strong enough to punch you

We leave our house, and count calories

Each calorie is an enemy, yet still a friend

We walk up and down, until you run out

We return to our home only to stress more

The screaming kids, the barking dog

this could make you faint of terror

You think again "what am I doing with my life?"

But as a parent you are creating will, joy, sweetness, and life

We sleep and we get our fresh start for tomorrow

We run, we hop all the way till noon

The sun sets and we watch a breathtaking view of orange and yellow in the sky
